Bible Verse : Jude 1: 24

One of my all-time favourite adverts begins like this: “In life, you could be cruising on then suddenly you hit a pothole…” Undoubtedly, this advert has played up in our world today; for this whole world has been hit by a pandemic that is causing both great and small to fall.

The records of the fatalities especially in the Western world have been shocking, mindboggling and without formula. The rich and powerful have been infected, senior health experts and even strong able-bodied people have died.

On the other hand, I have also heard of the recovery of a woman who is over 100 years old, and even a rapist with serious underlying health conditions recovering to the surprise of all.

Indeed Scripture is true that says, ” it is not he who runneth nor willeth, but it is God who shows mercy…and He shows mercy and grace to whom he wants to” (Rom 9:16).

Today’s key scripture is meant to provide hope to all who trust in him. (Jude 1:24)

• God is able to keep you from falling; be it from backsliding, from falling sick, or even from falling dead.
• He will present us before His presence without fault: unscathed.
• And soon it will be a time of great joy and celebration, both after COVID-19 and in eternity.

Dear friend, be rest assured that “The Lord will keep you from all harm, he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” (Psalms 121:7-8)
